The SmartSolar solar controller processes the energy from the solar panels and stores it in the batteries, maximizing solar gains, intelligently maintaining battery health and extending battery life. The SmartSolar solar controller can recharge even a severely discharged battery, as it can operate with battery voltages as low as 0 volts, provided the cells are not permanently sulfated or otherwise damaged.

Ultra fast MPPT technology:

The controller continuously monitors the voltage and current from the solar panels and, thanks to MPPT technology, extracts maximum energy from them, which is especially beneficial in variable solar radiation intensity. MPPT technology provides up to 30% higher energy gain compared to PWM solar controllers and up to 10% higher gain compared to slower MPPT controllers.

Remote monitoring and control:

If your installation is connected to the internet using a GX device, the VRM portal provides anytime, anywhere access to your devices.

Built-in Bluetooth:

With built-in Bluetooth, the SmartSolar solar controller can pair with your smartphone or other device via the VictronConnect app to set up, monitor, or update your system.

VE.Direct connector:

VE.Direct is used to connect to your GX, PC, or other devices.

VE.G.E. or other GE devices:

The controller has excellent conversion efficiency. The maximum efficiency exceeds 98%. One advantage of the high efficiency is that the controller has no cooling fan and maximum output current is guaranteed up to an ambient temperature of 40 °C (104 °F).
