Heating

Air conditioning isn't just a seasonal thing, it's also great in the winter for quick, easy and cheap heating. Enjoy the ideal indoor temperature all year round. Thought you'd only use air conditioning on hot summer days? It's not. In fact, air conditioning is great for you in winter too. The heating in an air conditioner works on the air-to-air heat pump principle. To do this, the outdoor unit must contain a reversing valve. This allows the air conditioner to reverse the direction of the refrigerant flow between the units.

Thanks to the heat pump, the air conditioner can heat efficiently even when the outside temperature drops well below zero (down to -25 °C). Air conditioning heating is fast. In just 10 minutes you can have a nice warm room.

Too much humidity indoors is harmful to brickwork, appliances, furniture and most importantly, our health. Moisture causes mould and mites and contributes to allergies, atopic eczema and rheumatological diseases.

Air conditioning can cool and heat, but it can also reduce the humidity in a room. This prevents the formation of mould and bacteria, which have a negative effect on our organism.

Thanks to the dehumidifying function, you can cook without worry even if you forget to turn on the cooker hood, take a long bath or dry your laundry in your bedroom.

The air conditioner can also humidify the room

In heating mode, the air conditioner can absorb moisture from the outside air and feed it through a special tube into the indoor unit. This then distributes it evenly throughout the room, ensuring a pleasant climate and comfort in any weather.

Filtration

Dust, pollen, micro-organisms, allergens and other impurities make life unpleasant not only for allergy sufferers. Air conditioning gets rid of them and ensures that you can breathe well at home at any time of the year.
Air conditioning, among other functions, makes sure that you can breathe air free of dust and other impurities thanks to special filters. A dust and antibacterial filter comes as standard with the air conditioner. The dust filter of the indoor unit covers the entire surface of the evaporator and thus prevents the entry of coarse dirt and dust. The surface of the antibacterial filter is designed to disrupt the metabolism of microbes and limit their growth if they become trapped.

In addition, modern units can filter even the smallest microparticles with high efficiency. They rid the air of most particulates and micro-organisms down to 0.3 micrometres in size. They can thus cope not only with dust, but also with viruses, bacteria, pollen and other allergens.
