SCMI-01.5C

The SCMI-01.5C communication module enables control of a stand-alone ASGE-XXBI2 or ASGE-XXBI2-3 outdoor unit from the UNI SPLIT 2 series (3.5 ~ 16 kW).

It allows setting the following modes:

• autonomous temperature control for cooling and heating (as a slave unit)
• autonomous pressure control for cooling (evaporating temperature)
• slave unit (0-10 V) for cooling and heating
• slave unit controlled by Modbus communication

The SCMI-01.5 is a versatile solution for a variety of projects from 3.5 to 16 kW with target temperatures between -10 and +50 °C. Cooling to lower temperatures, direct evaporation to the HVAC system or even a simple air-to-water pump can all be realized with the ASGE-xxBI2 outdoor unit assembly and the SCMI-01.5 control module.

The module is powered by 220-240 V / 50 Hz. For controlling additional devices, it contains three relays with adjustable function with 230 V / 2 A contact. In addition, the module has a Modbus input/output, two binary inputs with TTL level. One 0 to 10 V / 100 kΩ voltage input, one 4 to 20 mA current input and two 10 kΩ resistance thermometer inputs (ß = 3435). The module also has a USB-C connector for interfacing with a PC. Using the USB Communicator software, you can set up the module in advance for ease of installation, read out fault history and current operating data.
