Multifunnel
The Quattro converter/charger is a high-performance DC-AC inverter with a purely sinusoidal voltage step-up, a sophisticated adaptive battery charger and an ultra-fast voltage loop switcher. The inverter is housed in a compact aluminium housing. The model series is available with a power rating of 3000VA-10000VA.

Two AC inputs
The Quattro is equipped with two mutually independent AC inputs (the main difference compared to the MultiPlus series) as a network and generator or two generators. The device is able to automatically connect to a power supply if needed.
TwoAC inputs
Quattro is equipped with two AC inputs as standard. The main outlet is equipped with a feature that ensures an uninterrupted power supply. The Quattro will take over power to connected appliances in the event of a power or generator failure. This is done so quickly (less than 20 milliseconds) that meters and other electronic devices will continue to operate without interruption.
The second input is energized only when AC is available at one of the Quattro inputs. Devices that would quickly discharge batteries, such as a water heater, air conditioner, electric oven can be connected to this input.
Virtually unlimited power due to parallel operation
Up to 10 Quattro units can operate in parallel to achieve higher power output. Ten Quattro 48/10000/140 units, for example, provide up to 90 kW/100kVA of output power with a battery charging capacity of up to 1Â 400 A.
Three-phaseoperation
Three units of the same model can be assembled in three-phase operation. But this is not the case: up to 10 three-phase assemblies (30 units in total) can be connected in parallel to provide a power output of up to 270 kW/300 kVA with a battery charging capacity of up to 4,000 A.

PowerControl - limiting the overload of the alternating current (AC) source
Quattro is a very powerful battery charger. It is capable of drawing large amounts of current from a generator or grid (up to 16 A for each unit of the 48/5000/70 model operating at 230 V on the AC side). A maximum power draw limit can be set on each AC input to occupy the AC power source.Â

Takes the PowerControl function to the next level. Avoids overloading a power-limited alternating current (AC) power source. If the power source should be overloaded the battery charging current will be automatically reduced in the first line. In the second line, then, the input power of the connected generator or the local power supply (current-limited power supply) will be shifted by the power drawn from the battery.

Setting up a system has never been easier!
Immediately after installation, the device is ready to perform its function. If it is necessary to change the settings, this can be done very easily with the built-in DIP switches in a few minutes. Even parallel wiring of units can be done with DIP switches, no need for a computer! Alternatively, the setup can be performed using the VE.net control panel or sophisticated software (VE.bus Quick Configure and VE.bus System Configurator), which offers additional
four stages of adaptive charging with two stages for charging the batteries
The main stage provides a more powerful charging of the batteries through the "adaptive charging" system. The software directs a three-stage automatic recharging process to suit the condition and type of battery, and adds a fourth phase of maintenance charging. In addition to this, Quattro allows to charge a second auxiliary battery by means of an infinitely variable charging input dedicated to the generator starter battery (12 and 24 V models only).
The MK2-USB PC communication interface is used to set the parameters and to display the current status of the unit.
